“An IDEAL World”
(a work in Progress)
This mural was created by the students of the IDEAL school of manhattan in New York City. IDEAL stands for Individualized, Differentiated, Education for All Learners, and is an inclusion school based on the upper west side of Manhattan. The mural is approximately 4’h x 6’w. Each of the students at the school created a unique figure which encircles or inhabits the earth signifying the diversity of the human race. An array of stars fills the background, many of which have photos of individual students embedded within. It was chosen as our featured artwork as a wonderful example of this year’s theme: “Beautiful Planet / Beautiful Earth”.

How You Can Help
Your direct contribution will fund our missions to under-resourced areas of the world. We will be able to provide education, equipment, and supplies in a variety of mediums through your generosity. Our goal is to return to Thailand and Cambodia, and to arrange for missions to areas of Laos. We have been requested to send missions to Malawi and Chad. Please help us today!

The Many Advantages of Artistic Expression for Children

Global Children’s Art Programme works with children in under-resourced school systems and regions around the world. We strive to provide an outlet of self-expression and education by supplying teachers, teaching aides, and supplies, and hope to encourage cultural exchange and education between various educational facilities throughout the world.
Art, in all its mediums, is a process of expressing how we feel about ourselves and the lives we are living. It’s also a tool for capturing things we see and can’t otherwise express, but want to remember and share with others.
Far beyond self-expression, art is also a tool for growth and development. Art education gives children the ability to grow, to gain self-confidence, expression, and creativity. The expression of creativity also increases attention span and the ability to express oneself in a different manner. It can also be an extremely positive influence. For some children, it can be extremely theraputic. It can also be a way to educate others about different cultures and areas of the globe.
Self-expression is a critical part of every child’s development. While language and vocabulary helps us to convey what we’re thinking and feeling, the creation of art provides another much-needed outlet for budding young minds. It’s also lots of fun for them. With all of these benefits, it’s easy to see why Global Children’s Art Programme strives to keep art alive in the lives of children around the world.
The Universal Language of Art

For children, their art is a vehicle of self-expression above and beyond their language or vocabulary.
Global Children’s Art Programme strives to provide consistent opportunities for self-expression beyond words for children around the world. The art is then available for purchase in various formats, with profits going directly back into the schools art budget when there would otherwise be none.
